I, nor anyone related to this story, are clients of Visiting Angels, although we wish we were. I have to give the highest compliment to Thom Price. Recently my elderly cousin was in a difficult situation, here in GA. A friend of her's, who lives in Nevada, called Visiting Angels. Thom was apparently in a meeting but took the call. The friend asked Thom to have someone check on my cousin, Judie. Thom explained that he did not have the staff to assist at that moment, nor was he able to take on more clients at the time. The friend begged Thom to go and check on Judie. Remember Thom was in a meeting, and Judie was not a client or even a potential client. Thom left his meeting and drove to Judie's home. She was being stubborn and did not want to go to the hospital. Thom persuaded her to go. That in itself is a miracle. I won't get into the "threats" (LOL), but it worked. He even made her "pinky promise" to go. He called EMS and then left (there were friends there at the house). As promised Judie did go to the hospital. She was able to return home a few days later. Thom didn't have to leave his meeting on a stranger's phone call from Nevada and go to yet another stranger's home and convince her to go to the hospital. BUT HE DID. Even after I have made the two hour drive to Judie's home, I have not been able to get her to voluntarily go to the hospital, but HE DID. I was unaware of the story until I called him to follow up on continuing care for Judie. I had seen his business card on the table at Judie's home and assumed she had become a client and had not told me. I learned differently after talking to Thom. Thom Price THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. Based on this alone, if you, or a loved one is in need of care, please consider Visiting Angels. May Angles look over you too Thom!!!

I can only say good things about the Acworth Visiting Angels. You all took such good care of my mother, allowing her to live an independent life in her final years. Independence was my mom. She had good friends and confidantes with her Angels. There are not enough words to express my appreciation toward the Acworth Visiting Angels. People as special as you all are will never be forgotten and are one in a million.

I want to say Thank you to the Angels for helping care for my mother in law. Such a blessing to know I can be at work and not have to worry about her well being. If you need piece of mind for your loved one give the owners a call, they are such a blessing as well!

I like that it is easy to get the director on the phone and the caregivers are always sweet. You can tell they love what they do!
