I've now bought or sold a home several times and I was impressed with HomeLight as an escrow company. The transaction was quite smooth, they kept me updated on the status and next steps in the process, were available when I had questions, and were able to do the vast majority of the required paperwork online. And the best thing is that after the transaction closed they wired me my profits within a couple hours!

Not a great experience with this company. Paperwork was done incorrectly numerous times. Very rude when they where asked to fix it. Even got told Either let me fix it or find another company. If you do use this company and someone name Cara works with you do yourself a favor and RUN!

I worked with Homelight Escrow to close on my 2nd property. I was BLOWN away at how efficient, professional, and simple they made the process. I was not able to work with them on my first house, and am SO pleased to work with them on my 2nd. I would highly recommend using them for any property moving forward and would never hesitate to reach out! Thank you Homelight for making my purchase such a great experience!

Stay away from this company. Every step of the way was a problem. I never got the Final closing statement as a seller. I did not docusign for my approval. I was told the house closed. I kept asking for the final costs and supposedly the house closed and it still has not been received! It is stressful enough selling a house but no one needs the lack of communication from a company that utters they are here to help.

We had a very satisfying experience using Homelight for the sale of a house in Victorville, CA. We were absentee owners/sellers and Homelight's web site and registration process helped us easily connect with a local agent familiar with our neighborhood. We really liked Homelight's model which offers a choice of high performance agents from several different companies and their web site shows real-time stats on each agent's sales. We selected Cheryl from ReMax because she had live in our sub-division and sold plenty of homes there. She was a delight to work with and her relationship with Homelight was transparent (as it should be). Marketing, negotiations, and contract writing were stress free and the escrow process was incredibly easy... Undeniably worth the fee we paid to Homelight which was well offset by the savings from the reduced commissions. Escrow and final closing through Homelight were incredibly easy... we were back home 2400 miles away and managed to do all transactions electronically. Wow! We could not give Homelight a higher recommendation unless this system allowed something higher than a "5"!
