Good: Amazing location. Great staff. Bad: Rooms are outdated. No mini fridges or microwaves. The tv was on a wall that you couldn't watch from the bed. No USB outlets in the room. Some street noise of the homeless and the drunks yelling at night.

This location is central to a lot of tourist attractions, but also a lot lot of homeless are in this area and it throws you off. The hotel is very old and rustic inside. Its got a cool feel to it. When it comes to the room, its small barely any lights its like a dungeon my view, Well, its another building 6 feet in front of my window on both sides. The shower is not the greatest the counter in the bathroom is starting to fall down and the bed is very uncomfortable, but thats normal for hotels. also, the staff overcharged our stay and we had a fight with corporate to have it resolved.

I really like this hotel. It's clean and the room had everything I needed. This is an old building that's been maintained nicely. The rooms have high ceilings and wide wooden casings around the baseboard and doors. It's clear that this hotel has a maintenance crew who knows what they're doing. As one example, the caulking in the bathroom was neat and tidy. I really appreciated the in-window heating/cooling unit: it was easy to use and quieter than most. The bed was comfortable. I liked the continental breakfast: nothing fancy, just the self-serve basics, which allowed me to eat quickly and get to my meeting. As far as the surrounding neighborhood goes, Seattle has cleaned it up a lot in the last year. Pioneer Square used to be a homeless mess with trash and drugs; I was glad to see that's all gone now. I was able to park two blocks away in the Columbia Garage for about $30/day. Overall, a really great experience and I'll definitely stay there again. The value to price ratio really can't be beat.
