Rumpke Waste & Recycling

Horrible customer service, and bad service from this company. Its my fault I put my trash out at 3am and unfortunately the service guy had already came at 2am. I tried to get a second pick up scheduled as this was my first time missing a pickup and they refused and told me to use their dump site at $50 dollars. Thats the only option you give a customer. I will be canceling and going to another local trash company.

YOU DO HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE...Republic trash service!!! I'm so done with 20 years of poor service from rumpke. I have 100 people coming to my house tomorrow. I paid and scheduled a couch pickup (loveseat). Wrapped it, taped it, put it to the curb. The driver stated it was too heavy. This was after 4 calls throughout the day. This was a loveseat!!! They sent 1 person. My son and husband carried it out so i know it's not too heavy! Terrible service, Terrible company!

Continued, poor service. A blanket websupport response. Via phone, email, messenger, Google review. Still no progress nor actual answer. Simply just a pathetic company on the customer service end. Continued edit, we are now using Republic services. Same price, same day, better service already. So excited to be done with rumpke, that can only try to place any blame on the customer and accept none of their own. Terrible service, recommend u go with anyone else. ZERO quality control. They do not care about the customer at all. The trash collectors on our route are pathetic. They constantly spill trash all over our street. We called/paid for large item (a couch) they said it was too big for the 1 guy to get. The crew is spiteful and do these things on purpose to screw with people. 20+ yr customer, never had trouble until we moved to this location 4 yrs ago. COMPLETE lack of customer help or satisfaction regardless of how many times we call and try to be patient...shameful business. I'll be editing this post every day so it stays relevant. A blanket response, same old pathetic story.

Can't do styrofoam, they just put it in the landfill . It takes 500 year to disolve. They recycle it in other area. It is 30% of landfills and growing. They don't care.

Rumpke gives terrible service due to their petty policies. You have to throw trash away in the city assigned bins because they don't accept regular trash cans anymore, was told trash collectors only accept bagged trash but my neighbor threw a stool out last night and they took that today. And DON'T let anyone throw trash in the recycling bin because it will sit and rot if Rumpke has anything to do with it. It's trash regardless of what it's in. Leave it to Rumpke to make simple situations in to complications!
