I brought in an older motor with a bad capacitor, bearings were fine. They told me the whole thing was bad and sold me a motor for $315 that I can find online for $150. They also didnt have my older motor to give back to me anymore. Pretty quick, not very forthcoming. Be careful. Update: they did call me and leave a message after my review with the details but I was at work at their same hours. Forthcoming after the review, but my be careful review still stands. Thats my first experience getting motor work done and not knowing what to ask they just pushed me through. Make sure to ask questions. They are protecting the high rating after the fact.

03/11/24: Motor was dropped off to M&R 03/15/24: Customer was informed that the motor windings had heat damage, all leads would need replaced, & bearings replaced. Customer authorized ordering a new Motor and Pulley 03/19/24: Customer was notified repair and changeover were complete and ready for pickup03/21/24: Customer picked completed repair and never asked for his old motor back. We keep customers replaced motors for 2 weeks which we still have in shop.03/28/24: Voicemail was left for customer requesting a return phone call. We still have the old motor and have pictures for documentation. Also, please note the $315 was the total repair cost. This will include inspection, new motor cost, new pulley cost, and changeover time. We are happy to resolve any issues but no contact was made from the customer before posting this review.
