Nice river access point for the Des Plaines river. This is about 4.5 miles downriver of the Rt. 60 launch, and about 7.5 miles upriver from Allison Woods. Located in a small park in the back of a suburban neighborhood right next to a big mulch yard. There is not much parking in the park, only about 3-4 spaces and most are filled early with fisherman. Paved trail and an easy grade to the river. Just a few blocks from the Des Plaines river trail so it is easy to leave a bike and pedal back to your car after a paddle. Great spot, thanks to all who ensure our rivers are open and accessible to paddlers!!

This review is for the Des Plaines River Access Canoe/Kayak launch. Nice little park nestled with a housing community. There is a small parking lot with sign telling you were the launch is. It's about 200 feet of paved trail to get to river. So you have to carry or wheels to get to the river. There are not restrooms nor an Ada-Ez dock. There is no signs from the river telling you that the launch is coming up. I forget to take pictures.
