Surgery Consultants of Tampa

Absolutely terrifying and unprofessional

I have been going to surgery consultants of Tampa for almost a year now. I was in a car accident and they have been helping me get better. The staff is so friendly and caring for their patients. Before every injection and procedure that was done the doctor gave me a detailed play by play of what was to happen and then he talked to me the whole time I didn't realize he was distracting me and before I knew it he was done with the procedure. He called me in some meds for muscle spasms because I would be sore for a couple weeks after and it took over a week to get the meds but not because of any fault from the doctor or his staff. The pharmacy was not communicating with the doctor to let them know they didn't have it so days went by and I assumed it would show up in the mail til I finally called and realized the pharmacy hadn't even touched it yet. So the doctor who knew I had gone this long in pain stepped in cancelled that script and called my meds in to my local pharmacy instead of the one they use. But I'd like to not only thank surgery consultants of Tampa but also of Orlando as well. I was also in phone contact with the Orlando office where my doctors office is at permanently and his staff was also friendly professional and compassionate. They did not quit until they knew my meds were going to go through. I had my injections done first in my lower back by Dr. Edie from the Tampa location. I must say that was definitely necessary and so far it seems to have worked. I just had the radio frequency procedure done where they go in and burn the nerves that cause pain. I'm still recovering from that but I know once the pain and soreness go away I will feel like a brand new person. I am confident about it. So if you have back or neck injuries I suggest you go to one of these locations. They are a pain management facility but they do not manage pain with opiates. They manage it through therapy, injections and procedures like the one I had. They are effective and it is a much better alternative than surgery.
