La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Airport North

I don't understand the bad reviews this place is getting. Sure it's not a luxury hotel, but it's good just for a place to crash after having a day full of fun. My only complaint was that the hot tub was not up to temperature and was rather cold/lukewarm.

i only stayed here for one night and i can already confirm that i wont be staying here again. it looks nice and the staff are friendly, but once you pass the main lobby it all goes down hill. the elevator looks, sounds, and feels like its falling apart and will stop at any moment, the ENTIRETY of the 3rd floor smells like marijuana, as if people were constantly smoking up there. and dont even get me started on the individual rooms. my room smelt so horrible, very musty and sweaty smelling and it was almost impossible to get rid of the smell. my buddy had a room on the 4th floor and the smell was just as horrible. the bathrooms were gross, the floors were sticky and there was hair and mold growing in the showers. the shower head looked as if it had never been cleaned in 40 years, and it didnt even have a proper bathroom door. just a little folding door with no locks and no way of actually latching closed. the only good thing was there were no bugs but trust me when i say do not spend the night at this hotel, you will regret it.

Ok rooms but thin walls & not cleaned well, lady's hair all over bathroom. They also wouldn't let me check it even though I was on the reservation. The mgr got involved & was no help, she missed I was already on the reservation as well. They made me call customer service & they were confused why I wasn't being allowed to check in as they confirmed I was on the reservation. No apology, mgr didn't show her face & an hour lost. Pretty poor service at this location. The desk lady was professional & nice but she also missed that I was listed on the res.

I had to catch an early flight in the morning, so I stayed at this hotel near the airport. It's pet friendly and relatively spacious. However, there is an unpleasant smell and there is almost no soundproofing. The bathroom doorknob was broken.

My flight was canceled and I was looking to get a quick nap and this location was perfect. The had a pickup and drop up shuttle service to airport which was among the best service I have ever seen. I only waited 5 min for pickup and less then 5 min to get dropped at the airport. The lady in the front desk and the lady who picked us from the airport were very nice and understanding. If your flight gets delayed and you need a place then it is the one to go.
