I think it is unfair for me to give 3 stars due to some slight inconveniences, but there are is one issue I have. Starting with the pros This location is very ideal for people looking to have a nightlife and the apartment itself has a great view and some very good amenities. The staff is very friendly as long as you engage in conversation because come on they work long hours. Now for the one major issue in my opinion. If you live on the upper floors it will be very hot in your apartment during the winter and spring season. This apartment complex runs on a single pipe HVAC system and I guess they do not have thermostats on each floor. They have to keep the temperature above 68 due to an ordinance; however, I do not quite understand why they pump heat into the hallways after floor 10 or so because heat rises, so yes the lower floors may be around 70 but the upper floors get all that heat that rises up plus the heat they are supplying to the floor itself. I prefer to sleep in cooler temperatures and at the upper levels your windows dont get a great breeze so you are kinda just out of luck. I believe this place would benefit greatly from either an updated HVAC system or at least having thermostats on each floor so you arent making the upper levels unbearably hot. Only flaw in my opinion but a very frustrating one.

My roommate and I just signed a lease here. Jaliene, our leasing consultant, was super helpful, communicative, friendly, and resourceful throughout the whole process. During our tour, she showed us multiple units and was very thorough in answering questions/going over amenities, pricing, etc. Afterwards, she responded promptly to any follow-up questions we had and guided us through the application/signing process. The whole thing went smoothly, largely thanks to her help!

Pros: This building is located in a nice area and is close to a lot of essentials like public transportation and grocery store access. The maintenance team is really sweet, but you need to beware of the rest of the management at this building. Cons: I'll start with the light cons that may just be personal things, but if you live close to a bottom floor be prepared for the noise. You are close to a major street, and also close to a big party area. It gets loud on the weekends, and its almost impossible to have your windows open without getting blasted with a siren. If you work from home you might want to reconsider this place. Major cons: THIS PLACE IS RUN BY SOME VERY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE STAFF. I won't name names, but you likely will be working with some terrible office management staff, they are prompt but I can tell you they are not customer friendly. If you approach with a question or concern you will be treated like you are the problem. The front office desk is often run by very rude individuals that made move in a terrible experience. Furthermore, the elevators in this building are some of the most rundown contraptions, are constantly broken and often times can be delayed (I don't think the first floor call button works half the time). Overall, I would not choose to live here again if I could make the choice, there are several cheaper properties in the Chicago area that come with better amenities.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Ive lived here 2.5 years and as the time went on its gotten progressively worse. The most recent issue being a MOUSE. In September of 2023 I noticed a small crack in my door stopper, I thought nothing of it until I found what looked like droppings in my bathroom. I put in a maintenance request and was told by maintenance staff and the property manager weve never had a mouse, youre too high up (6th floor) its physically impossible for a mouse to live here. Just because you havent had a mouse before does not mean it is impossible. The staff didnt believe me so I ultimately had to purchase cameras to run 24/7 in hopes of catching it on video. Photos attached of the mouse and droppings I had found and continuously sent over to be told it could be anything. At one point I had 10 mouse traps throughout my apartment in hopes that it would be caught and removed. It was never caught, instead the hole where it was living was stuffed with wire and the mouse most likely died in my wall. Flash forward to now, Im in the process of moving out and am finding mouse droppings in MY COATS, SHOES, BINS OF CLOTHES. When I found the first coats with mouse droppings a few months back I asked the building to reimburse me for the cost of cleaning and was denied. Weve done everything possible and are not at fault. Mind you it took 2-3 months for the building to actually believe me that a mouse was here. Do yourself a favor and live literally anywhere else where you wont be gaslight into thinking youre wrong/crazy.
