I called Marcus and hired them to remove all the sod from our yard. The crew showed up right on time, they did a great job and they left the yard just like I would have. Pristine, even. Price was very reasonable for VERY hard work and the crew leader was a great communicator. I will definitely be hiring them again.

They come twice a month to mow and do general cleaning up of the beds and pruning, I'm happy with the service and price.

There's a pattern in the negative reviews and Im disappointed to contribute. The service was fine. Dependable quality and good job on weekly edging and mowing. However the owner Marcus is extremely unprofessional. We found in the last week his team had chosen to dispose of the grass clippings we presume, that had been collected across the day, into our Seattle Utilities 96 gallon cart, filling it completely! When we called on Saturday to ask him to have his team come by to remove it we were countered with 1. We don't work on weekends so it's not gonna happen, 2. I'm all alone today and don't have anyone to help me, 3. You're asking me not to spend time with my family, and I'm not going leave them just this second. Sigh... Mind you, I started the conversation with Marcus by stating "I really like and appreciate the service you provide. However, we have a problem from yesterday..." When I offered to help Marcus empty the container if he brought the truck around, he said no. When I asked him what would be a better time TODAY if he was spending time with family he hedged. Finally I offered to just bring the cart by (a block away) to empty into his back alley containers. He said, sure. He came by half an hour later in a huff, squealing into our driveway, then loudly emptying the container into his truck and then peeling off with screeching tires. The neighbors all commented about it later that day. Instead of looking to his team as being the source of the problem, we were blamed because he then FIRED US! In short, if you ever have a problem with this group, expect that you won't be dealing with an owner that is capable of being accountable, lacks ANY ability to cope with criticism, and will angrily turn on you.
