Comedy classes at DCC are not worth it. They were over-priced and under-delivered. Content is sub-standard and general. Atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. The comedy community here is lead by a drama queen and un-inclusive snobbish tyrant looking to exert authority to exile performers and patrons without warning or explanation. Service was grumpy and uneager to please.

From the patron perspective, service was grumpy, uninviting, and un-eager to please. Food was over-cooked and over-priced fried bar food. Show prices were above-average cost for underwhelming shows. Atmosphere is cold, corporate and unwelcoming. From a student perspective, Comedy classes were way over-priced for a curriculum that was disorganized and basic and delivered in tiny rooms so small the experience felt stifling. From a performer perspective, I tried to be a part of the Dallas Comedy Club community but was twice discriminated against participating without warning or explanation. I later learned that ownership at DCC has a reputation for poor communication, ego-driven discrimination, and mistreatment of staff, students and performers. This place lacks soul and conscience. Avoid this business at all cost. Students have had classes cancelled without refund. Classes have been poorly planned and have ended 45 minutes early. Staff have been unfairly fired without cause. Performers have been cancelled without warning or banned without explanation. Ownership has been given ample opportunity to make things right but are unresponsive to complaints.
