Villages of Bella Vista

My parents moved to Austin from Arkansas and right into Villages of Bella Vista. They told me over and over again how much they liked it. It is a great location with beautiful grounds but this is more about one of the people that works there. My parents, at the time, were both in their 80s (my dad is now 90) and needed a little extra help and we were able to count on Jake for that help. Thank You Jake!

I have lived here since December 2019 and the community is quiet and I enjoy my apartment/living space. However, since the winter storm in February the complex has gone downhill very fast. 4 months later, the front gates still do not work compromising our safety (car break-ins reported), the main pool at the clubhouse has been closed and not available for use, and the back pool has been neglected and has been green with dead cockroaches floating in it for almost a week now. Have called the front office asking if they plan on cleaning it anytime soon but no definitive answer. Additionally, the “yoga/spin room” has not been available for use since February & the main gym area is extremely outdated & equipment is incomplete (weights missing/not in great condition) for as long as I have lived here. Amenities definitely lack in this complex. Communication between front office & tenants is next to none about status of these amenities or much else.
