What an absolute travesty of a Service department. It was such a pleasure to make an online appointment two weeks in advance only to be advised they cannot help you when you show up for the appointment. No call ahead to reschedule, just a surprise look that you showed up. I guess it makes more sense not to forecast and properly handle appointments. They told me they have people waiting for days for service. There was not even an attempt to reschedule then, just sorry, can’t help. I expressed my displeasure with this and advised of my concern for safety on what the car was doing. Without going into detail my transmission has been lurching and slamming into gear. The manager heard my concerns and advised they would get it in to be looked at, you know being a safety concern and all. When no one called me later, I decided to call towards the of the day to get an update and next steps. I got the additional pleasure of sitting on hold for 30 minutes only to be told they can’t get anyone in the service department to pick up. Informed them that I was on my way to pick up my car and wanted it ready out front. Picked up my car and decided to pull my dashcam footage. It was amazing to find that my car sat in the parking lot all day. No one even looked at it. If Pearson can’t competently handle service appointments, I wonder what attention they provide to your vehicle when they do work on it. Total loss of confidence. Hopefully Ford can direct me to a reputable Ford service department for my bumper to bumper warranty issue.
