I love the location - right between the university village and the Union bay natural area. As a UW student, I particularly value convenience and the ability to easily access both outdoor space and grocery stores. I also can walk to the link rail stations and campus on foot. As a 19-year-old, the age demographics do matter to me; and I appreciate that the majority of the residents are students; at the same time, I am glad that the apartment is open to families with children. I attached a photo of the view from my unit.

Apartment is clean and relatively new, built under 5 years ago. I appreciate that they enforce a no-smoking policy.

Worst experience ever. My apartment was dirty when I moved in, there are stains on the wall and floor, scratches on the door. I took videos upon moving in clearly showing that I was not responsible for the stains, but the building still charged me $300 for painting the room. With the reason that the there was no close up photos. The cleaning fee is also unreasonable, I did not receive a clean apartment when I moved in, theres even belongings from previous tenants in the cupboard, hooks on the window, its questionable of how they cleaned it and charge tenants for it as I dont think they cleaned the apartment before I moved in. There are no breakdowns or itinerary on how they charged the cleaning fee and painting fee but just a number. During my stay, there were no hot water for multiple consecutive days. The security of this building is also doubtful, theres no one behind the lobby counter during the day and only occasionally will there be a guard at night (I probably only see the guard once every 15 times at night ). Theres often suspicious people tagging along tenants to come in the lobby. The management does not take any action but only send email twice during my stay to ask tenants to be cautious instead of enhancing security.

Came to visit daughter and we used the roof top bbq and fire pit and it was so nice up there. They really do a great job keeping it nice and view was amazing and this area makes this place above most other places. Only recommendations is to have a couple more of the white patio chairs as others wooden ones are very weathered and uncomfortable. Thanks for having this area as really is the selling point for this place and look forward for more weekend visits and great roof top bbq and chats around the fire pit.

I lived here temporarily for three months. When I first moved in, there was white dog hair and short curly black human hair everywhere. There was salt (or sugar) scattered in the cupboards, and the mattress the apartment provided had large pet stains and a foul odor. I don't believe they properly cleaned the apartment between me and the previous tenant. I paid $300 a month for a parking spot, yet on three occasions someone else parked in that spot. The area around the apartment is not very safe, and so finding parking elsewhere can be daunting late at night. The staff was not responsive when I reported my spot being taken, and in one occasion, it was a staff member who took my spot because they thought I had already moved out. This kind of disorganization is pretty alarming. The management here is one of the most unprofessional I've experienced. They ignore emails and text messages and only reply to ones that are convenient for them. Most of the people living in this apartment are students (and I was mistaken for one), so I wonder if they believe they can get away with this kind of behavior because they believe younger people do not know better. This building is also being used for Airbnbs.
