A good place to take your pets when they are just not feeling well.

This clinic is a nightmare! My wife and I brought in our tiny cat (only 10lbs) to be checked for a possible ear infection, and were told she would have to wait in the back and we could come get her after some tests were done. We didn't like it but we figured the vets knew what they were doing. So we dropped her off at her appointment time of 9am. The office then called us at 2pm to get authorization to do the tests we made the appointment to for. Then they called us back at 4:30pm to tell us they couldn't clean our cat's ears because she was "too aggressive". Here's the thing, we have had this cat for 7 years, she never swipes at or bites anyone at home, and we have consistently taken her to the vet over those 7 years and we have NEVER had a problem with aggression before this appointment. All I'm left thinking is yeah, I would be pretty upset as well if I was trapped in a cage ALL day with no food or water, surrounded by other scared animals, and I was sick. She's only 10lbs, how can this tiny cat be too much for trained professionals to handle??

Hi, this review is not for the front desk staff. I've always had a positive experience and they're kind and patient and could use extra support I think. And possibly extra support to the people in the back as well due to the following: The past 2 times I've brought my senior pet here this year, the vet techs are cold, seemingly without an ounce of compassion or empathy. Both times I'm told it's a drop off appointment, and am stuck in the tiny intake room waiting for anyone to notice I'm there for 20 mins, when the whole drop off APPOINTMENT is supposed to be 15 mins according to when I scheduled it, because I asked (Since the last time, I waited 30 mins, unacknowledged in that small room. Again, for an APPOINTMENT.) Time is important. Being late to work should have been avoided both times. I had a few questions regarding my pet and the tech seemed annoyed. I ask if they would show me how to do a blood glucose curve on my dog, she said yes and seemed annoyed when I asked further questions about it. Didn't even say anything about when someone could show me or when I would want to see. Cool. I'm compelled to find a different vet and will not be using end of life services, or anything else, for my dog here. Get some hospitality lessons and extra help for your staff. Call me a "Karen" all you want.
