Travelodge by Wyndham Zanesville

Stopped and asked to see room. Desk clerk refused said I could checkin first and if I didnt like it I could be refunded. Signs post everywhere no refunds. Hallways small very musty. Place was rundown outside and inside. Deserves no star and wouldnt give them any.

Hotel is being renovated. Other than that its quiet. Probably because there's only two other customers. Really though, what kind of hotel doesn't have at least one soda and snack machine.

The workers were fine. The room that we stayed in definitely wasn't the cleanest and I don't THINK there were bed bugs. The bathroom could have been cleaner as well. It was greatly dirty but it's not ideal when different people are in and out. The whole hotel had an icky smell to it that may be hard to ignore. The pets allowed policy is great but there was a small of animal pee that isn't so great. I really wouldn't recommend it unless there is no where else to stay. It is right next to the highway which is nice but the entrance isn't marked at all and hard to see at night.

We purposely picked this motel because we wanted a Wyndham owned motel. We've been traveling to Missouri and on our way back to PA and stayed in Wyndham motels with good experiences and I am a rewards member. Wow were we dissappointed! This was old and run down. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke, toilet leaked around the seal and ran, tub didn't drain well, curtains ripped, furnature was shabby, flooring was cheap. Thankfully we only had to stay overnight. The elevator was broken to second floor. The hallways smelled of wet dog, the the walk to the lobby was like a horror movie with the vacant rooms in total mess. Lobby area had a bucket catching water leaking. Wyndham needs to dump this one. Rooms: Checked for bedbugs. That seemed okay. Food & drinks: No complimentary breakfast offered. Vending machines were empty.
