AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS!
A relative went to his office for an in-office medical procedure. The procedure lasted 15 minutes, and within a couple of weeks we received a shocking $10K bill.
Dr. Menezes took it upon himself to select an out of network anesthesiologist to assist him during the procedure without the patient's consent which is unethical.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of his tactics to rip off the elderly. To make matters worse, this seems to be standard practice in his office.
He should be investigated by the Inspector General, NY Health & Hospitals, Office of Professional conduct. Medicare Fraud. An unethical physician shouldn't practicing medicine, he should be behind bars.

Dr. Placido Menezes is the best doctor in the universe. He is very caring, concerned and respectful toward his patients. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to listen to his patients.
