Walk in there today to open a checking account and it was an amazing experience the person was very pleasant and very helpful and I appreciate that took time to explain everything to me definitely would recommend this bank to anyone who needs a bank account.Thank You Flushing Bank

The most incompetent bank Ive ever had to deal with. Dont do your banking here unless you want to waste your time.

I am beyond disappointed with this bank ! BEWARE folks !!!! I had a joint account with my mother who recently passed away. Right after she passed away and I informed the bank of her passing, the bank bounced numerous checks without any warning, even though it is a full fledged joint account. They claimed I would have to close the joint account and open another account in my name only. A joint account means joint ownership of the account. No other bank does this !!! This is not standard protocol for joint accounts As if this were not bad enough, they also bounced another check several months ago and admitted they were wrong. But that was after many headaches and phone calls. Bottom line this bank is incompetent and has arcane rules that make it a nightmare to deal with. This is unfortunate because the tellers are mostly very friendly, so I don't blame them, but there is no excuse for the management. I am now transferring to Chase bank. I thought a local small bank would be better than a big corporate bank... boy was I wrong in this case ! I learned my lesson but beware people I would not wish anyone the headache of dealing with this bank.
