Lone Star Roadside Assistance

These guys are complete crooks. My car battery died and I purchased one from them which was supposed to be covered under warranty. The battery failed again and it took FOREVER for someone to come out. The person who was supposed to come out said he would be there are noon but didn't show up until much later. They not only refused to replace the battery, but they even charged $100 for a "service call" when no actual service was provided. I then had to get the car towed and buy a new battery elsewhere. I've now been without a car for 6 days and am out several hundred dollars because of them and this scam operation.

Was given a 1 hr wait four hours later and still nothing. Thankfully someone else saw my struggle helped me. Do. It rely on this company for anything. After 30 calls I finally got someone to pick up my calls and tell we are just not sending someone to you. Why on earth did you say one hour and never even assign it to anyone!!!!

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Do NOT use them!! I got them through my insurance company. A truck "was" dispatched to us at 4:30pm and was set to be there at 6pm. We waited til 6:30 (two hours of waiting roadside for this truck) and called their number to ask what their ETA was because they hadn't shown up. To our surprise, the number doesn't even work!!! We called three times and all three times it didn't even RING. It just automatically hangs up!! Called my insurance companys roadside assistance and told them. They called the company to get an ETA and the same happened to them. Just immediately hangs up and doesn't even ring. They had to dispatch a new tow truck from a different company which couldn't get there for another hour. This company totally screwed us over and just left us stranded for over three hours total between waiting for them and having to call a totally different company and never even called us/texted us to tell us anything or apologize. If your insurance company says they are sending this tow truck company, IMMEDIATELY ask for a different towing service!
