When I searching for an insurance company I chose Farmers Insurance- Jenny Stoops bc of the friendly customer service, professionalism of both ladies I spoke with. Unfortunately the customer service rep at this location provided poor customer service at the onset. They use customer service reps to quote policies without background info and laugh at me when i asked questions about coverage. I asked for basic information as to why my annual premium was so high with a replacement cost of only $100k. I was laughed at. It was demeaning and inappropriate. Shelby should really be trained on how to treat customers or get someone who is licensed involved in the conversation instead of LAUGHING or making someone feel like they are an annoyance because you are trying to make an informed decision. Jenny did try to listen and empathize to what happened in hopes to prevent that in the future. I feel better about doing business with her directly at lease since its her agency. Want to point that out as Im sure its not a reflection on the agent but unfortunately the customer service rep specifically. Hope you get better service than I did, unfortunately and Im sure they are happy, that I will take my properties elsewhere.
