Used Edgewater CPA for our taxes in 2021 for the first time. Used them for a problem with the IRS and they successfully negotiated with them. I would highly recommend them for any of your tax needs.

I received a tax warrant in the mail, which was baffling because I know I paid my taxes. After further investigation, it was my fault for allocating the payment incorrectly. Brook got me in contact with Patrick immediately and Patrick completely resolved the issue. I was very pleased with the clear communication with them both as well as their swift action. Thank you again for making this and me a priority.

Greetings! Full disclosure, Patrick Wanzer is my incredible brother. I always knew he was talented in what he did and believed that anyone that had the privilege of working with Patrick, was in good hands. I never thought that I would need his help. I am posting to let the world know how incredible it is working with Edgewater and specifically Patrick Wanzer. I had a circumstance arise that involved my personal investments and the IRS. As soon as I discovered the problem, I immediately reached out to Patrick, thinking it might be a while to get "on his list" of those he can help. Patrick instantly reached out to me offering advice and assistance. That same evening he came to my house, with a drafted letter, that helped diffuse the situation. The next day, he joined me in personally delivering the letter to the appropriate party and was able to speak on my behalf...as this entire ordeal is way over my head. This place does not have their act together. They have had significant turnover in the last few years with multiple bookkeeper changes with little to no communication when changes occur (emails just go unreturned). They continue to send us invoices even though we settled up with them and terminated our business with them over 6 months ago.

I have nothing but good to say about Edgewater CPA Group! Both Zack and Patrick have been so helpful in this process. Zack was able to listen to my situation and matched me with Patrick. Patrick addressed my complex tax issues in a professional, timely, effective, and most importantly kind way. I am a psychotherapist in private practice and there has been challenges getting my taxes aligned appropriately with my business model. Patrick was able to see straight through the challenges; developed a plan; his plan was approved by IRS; and he then established practices going forward for my LLC which help avoid any future discrepencies.
