    I had an appointment today to rent the apartment. Leasing office member is so rude he is not ready to talk or help to the people. I never saw this kind of behaviour before. We travelled from downtown to Sandy springs changing multiple trains and walked for more than 20 minutes along with my spouse and 6 years daughter to view the apartment , I requested the leasing staff to help with the address he doesnt have one minute to explain and he aggressively said he is going to cancel the appointment which is not ethical. Is this an acceptable behaviour?

    Average complex. Typical apartment staff in regards to focusing on new leases. Maintenance takes a while to get to you. The apartments are very old, and theyre trying to renovate but its just patching up. As seen, they reply and tell us to reach out to office, but when you do? IF THEY PICK UP, They do bare minimum to get anything fixed and end up claiming its your fault. I.e. my washer has been staining all my clothes, and I have not washed anything as I check everything before I put it in. They have looked at it twice and say theres nothing we can do, so meanwhile all of my clothes and linens are getting ruining at my fault. PICTURED BELOW: This is how maintenance fixes issues. They replace a washer and leave a puddle of water underneath it and did not help me clean it up. I stepped outside and asked them to, and they looked at me and said it will dry up. Puddle of water = mold Air filters and apartment inspections arent done in a timely manner, if theyre done at all. My heat in my apartment has acted up 3 times this year. 2 times, my roommate and I had to put it on Em heat. The CURRENT staff is horrible, Not the maintenance, but the leasing office. Gabby isnt attentive and doesnt seem like she listens. Rick will completely talk over you instead of providing customer service and listening to problems/feedback. It seems they dont even know who they talk since I have to remind them of situations with my apartment over and over again. This has happened all year. With the heat, the washer, the dryer, etc. First and LAST lease at this old place. There are too many other complexes around here with better prices, newer buildings, better warnings of water shut offs/fire alarms, etc. They have a 3.7 review, but its crazy because it was a 3.9 when I moved in April 2023, so it seems the current staff cant upkeep and fix what the last staff could not do either. They also nickel and dime you for everything. I had a neighbor transfer apartments in this community. His old apartment was never fixed properly with water damage that had happened in his lease. They decided to put those damages on him and he had to pay for the water damage that happened to the carpet, even though they were going to renovate his apartment into a newer model also. Actions speak louder then words, so its best to put these google review responses to action in my opinion. Best of luck to the community and residents currently here, and good luck to anyone who still wants to spend the money here to lease a place that is comparable to a motel. The beautiful renovations only last so long, then the band aids and patches start to show that theyve covered up, and the staff doesnt show or seem to care. Not to mention the CONSTANT water shut offs with no warnings, they blame the city and have no control. Last but not least, anyone in the office is absolutely impossible to get a hold of, even if you email them. This is one of the most unprofessional staffs Ive ever worked with. ADDED: THE FACT THAT THEY RESPONDED TO THIS GOOGLE REVIEW AND HAVENT GOTTEN BACK TO ANY OF MY EMAILS IS BEYOND MY REACH.

    My experience at Mount Vernon flats has being great, when I moved in, there were some issues, but the staff worked tirelessly and timely with us to get all resolved to make us comfortable. I am extremely thankful to Debbie, Gabbie Amanda, and Chris, for making this world a better place and also for doing the job so gracefully!! Thanks to everyone else who contributed and may god bless you all. I would recommend Mount Vernon Flats to anyone who would need a great community to live in. The community is kept clean and that is another aspect of the good work that has being done.
