Hotel Kabuki - JDV by Hyatt

Black mold on ceiling. The 200+ cost a night included nothing. Still had to pay for breakfast and 45 bucks a night for parking.

Good hotel with a very nice, stylish lobby. Room was basic but fine. Location is pretty good; it's not really in downtown so it's not so busy and the area generally feels safe. I felt that the breakfast was overpriced for what it was; just a standard continental-type breakfast. I ended up going out to get breakfast instead. There's also no on-site washing and drying machines, so if you want to do your own laundry you'll need to go to a nearby launderette. The staff suggested using their dedicated laundry service, but at approximately $10 per t-shirt, I opted to just go to a launderette instead of spending hundreds of dollars on laundry!

Amazing hotel experience in the heart of Japantown. Rooms have good views, the ambience is lovely and the lounge is comfortable and good for conversations or to kill time. Excellent restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Great if you love Japanese food and vibes. Gym looked well equipped. Hotel had a zen garden with a koi pond. Service was good.

Great location. Parking is a bit dicey. On Site is limited & $45 no in & out. Much better to park in attached Japan Center parking. Pay per hour ( in & out) or $29 max for 24 hours. Much safer than on the street. Hotel has great common area space. Staff is SUPER nice. Room are retrofitted. Pretty small Floorplan. I'd stay there again! Free coffee! Nearby activities: Lots of great restaurants in Japan Center

Lobby is beautiful. Actual hotel room was ok, balcony not worth the$ as it is tiny like no place to sit (nor is a chair provided to sit)...bathroom needs door! There is no comfortable place to actually sit in hotel room. $40 per night fees and taxes tacked on at the end of stay. Hard pass at this price point. Rooms: Not worth the price point. Safety: Area is clean and safe Walkability: Great location, lots of restaurants in the area. Easy to get around and to public transportation
