I have been taking my daughter here for over 6 months and we love it. The community and environment that is here is perfect for learning! I am so thank ful for their facility and their staff! I recommend it to anyone who is into martial arts and those looking to start!

My 5 year old son has been going there for about 6 months and he loves it. Everyone there genuinely cares about the kids and helps to instill discipline, kindness, and perseverance. Im so grateful that my son has such amazing role models in his life. I love that they not only care about teaching proper form and technique, they are setting the kids up for success in all other parts of life.

Avoid Gracie Barra if you want your kids to learn BJJ. First, avoid a martial arts studio with a contract - a good facility won't need to lock you into a 60 day cancelation requirement.It is an expensive place that doesn't teach the kids much but will ensure you pay extra on the end. This is a McDojo. Second, the kids really don't learn much. They avoid teaching submissions. They don't teach the kids to transition between dominant positions. I would be concerned placing a GB grey belt up against a grey belt from studios that teach kids competitive BJJ. If you want your kid to learn to defend himself by saying "don't touch me, bully!" then this is the place for you! The staff is friendly, young, and learning.
