I went in with a GIA certified diamond engagement ring. This person behind the counter pretended as if he knew what he was doing when he didn't. He told me the ring was fake and he needed to get a diamond detector to check the authentication of the ring. After he pretended that he couldn't find the numbers etched into the diamond he told me he would give me $2000.00 for a $20,000 ring. I took my ring to someone in River Oaks they stated that my ring was a flawless, perfectly cut Princess cut diamond ring. The ring was so clear, VS1, and done perfectly right. IF you do not know what you are doing why pretend? I know me being Black threw him off because wanted to say the ring was fake, or stolen (If my name wasn't so unique on the GIA report he would have said it). But when I hit him with the GIA report and the certificate number he was stunned. I will never, ever go there again.

I Have only bought form him once, but he is as everyone said, very personable, and knowledgable. His selection is basic, but I'm sure he isn't showing everything! All in all, I would recommend him.

Jay is fair and honest, there is a reason he is still in business after all these years. I have bought, sold, and traded with him and not once did he try to get over on me, even when I was new to the market and could have been. He might not always have the best possible deal to be had, but he's always fair, and I understand that a small business with one location in houston can't beat every deal ever. I will recommend anyone to him. Great guy, great service.

He wanted to buy my one oz American buffalo gold coin for $110 below spot price, STAY A WAY from this guy, he is the highway robber. I don't know his problem, he probably thinks people are dumb and he is too smart for his own good. I have a message for him, people who own one oz gold coins aren't dumb, learn how to do business in this society.
