Love this place and the staff! Quality gear and quality people. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly helpful. I got the impression that each of the staff were genuine and really wanted me to have a good and safe time. I did my SSI Open Water Diving Certification here just last week. I didn’t anticipate that I would be anxious, but I actually had a terrible panic attack the first day underwater. Our class had a great ratio of instructors and divemasters to students, so someone actually stayed with me to help me calm down. If it wasn’t for all their extra time with me and encouragement, I’m not sure I would have been able to continue. With every day, I became more comfortable and more confident underwater and was able to successfully complete my certification. I can’t thank the staff here enough. Now I’m eager to acquire more of my own gear and go for my next dive!

Excellent service, fast communication, very accommodating with scheduling, and great value. We needed to get dry suit certified quickly. This is our first time to get in touch with Gulf Coast Scuba. What a pleasant surprise! They scheduled our pool session and open water session time according to our tight schedule. Jim and Aiar were very easy to talk to and super friendly while explaining the process. James, our instructor, was super nice and competent. All around five star service. Would definitely recommend. Thank you all.

Got my SSI Certification here. All the staff was super helpful and flexible to my insane schedule. They are all highly skilled and informative. You can tell they really want to ensure you are prepared with all the necessary skills and equipment before you dive. If you want to get certified or need equipment check these guys out!

I refrain from leaving reviews, but it is clear that the old man who owns this retail dive shop writes his own reviews. My interaction with him was so negative that I left his establishment in tears. Women beware.
