I've improved my jiu jitsu faster with Marcel Ferreira at American Top Team than at any other gym. He teaches the right way - with great fundamentals and techniques. It is a family environment where everyone respects each other. I highly recommend this place for training. This is the perfect place to learn martial arts at!

My 8 year old is enrolled in the kid’s program and loves it. It’s a safe and encouraging environment that allows even the most timid kids to flourish. The kids practice as teammates and are always discouraged from being overly-aggressive towards each other. They are reminded constantly to treat each other with respect and gratitude. The instructor Marcel Ferreira is a world champion BJJ black belt and seasoned instructor. He and his wife make sure the kids have lots of fun while working on strength and flexibility. I recommend giving it a try.

My son enrolled and is loving it. He takes the Muay Thai & Jiu Jitsu classes daily. He is learning a lot. There is plenty of one on one instruction. Master Ferreira and his wife are very welcoming and make everyone feel comfortable. He has so much knowledge that he is willing to share.

I enrolled my younger sister in the kid's jiujitsu class to teach her a form of self-defense. After a few training sessions of jiujitsu, she was immediately ecstatic to come back and learn more from coach Marcel! As I watched her learn, jiujitsu techniques, it made me want to try it out as well, and after my first session, I immediately fell in love with jiujitsu. Coach Marcel is the real deal, and patient with kids and even to beginners like myself. I can't wait to continue learning from him alongside my younger sister about jiujitsu.
