Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A.

My experience with Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A. and specifically Katherine Scott as my lead attonery was nothing short of stellar! While I could easily provide a lot of negative feedback on the permeant alimony laws in the State of Florida, Katherine and the entire team that I worked with gave me complete confidence from day one that I/we would ultimately prevail in the end, and over time, by simply taking the high road and being 100% ethical in our words and actions....we did prevail! The entire staff that I worked with was extremely professional but also very personably in our time together. Their accessibility and willingness to listen to my thoughts and ideas were both amazing and refreshing. Divorce is never fun for anyone but, divorce with permeant alimony awarded as part of the equation can be overwhelming and very stressful. For me, they gave me sincere hope from day one based upon my personal situation that everything would turn out the way it should and that is exactly what happened for me. Katherine and the entire team at Harris, Hunt & Derr get my personal praise and highest professional recommendation possible.

Nicole Gehringer, from Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A , was the primary lawyer who handled my divorce from my wife and was a pleasure to work with. She made everything very easy for me to understand and was always willing to explain anything I was unsure about. She also did regular check-ins and was always very prompt with her work. She made the whole process very smooth despite it being an incredibly difficult situation. In the end, I was very happy with the marital settlement agreement that she produced and the final settlement we were able to agree upon. She was always available to call and the whole process was completed very quickly. She is a bright and very talented lawyer who I would recommend to anyone. Thank You Nicole!

I have started writing this review a few times and simply couldnt find the right words to express just how grateful I am to Harris, Hunt and Derr, especially Cory Brandfon. He was handed a very complex set of circumstances and extremely difficult parties. I couldnt be happier with how he handled it. The toxicity of the situation was immeasurable and we heavily relied on Cory for guidance. Its been two years since the final judgement was handed down and we couldnt imagine our lives had we not decided to follow Corys advice.

I worked closely with Nancy, Cory and Tracy and I know they were on top of everything and very knowledgeable. They were able to get the best for me and my kids and I know I couldn't have chosen a better firm to represent me. I was a great pleasure working with them and I recommend them without any hesitation.
