I originally reached out to Jeff Brown PC back in March, and submitted my tax forms shortly thereafter. I didn't hear from anyone for months until I sent an email in June and was responded to by someone at the office. I went through a tax preparer this year because I had taken continuing education courses and wanted to be sure I was receiving a break for that, and was hoping to learn more about what else I could receive tax breaks for. I still feel pretty novice when it comes to paying my taxes and had hoped that by paying for some help that I would receive some personalized attention, and learn a thing or two. Besides my initial phone call back in March I did not feel as though I was given any personalized attention with completing my tax return. When I received my tax return on July 13th (two days before it needed to be submitted) and recognized I was paying nearly 10k in taxes, and that no one had once asked me about potential tax breaks I called and spoke to someone on July 15th. I received my tax forms 7pm on the 15th and ended up paying them late due to the poor timing of it all. I'm well aware that everyone's business and livelihood has been impacted by the pandemic, but I'm still pretty disgruntled with how everything went. I recommend anyone reading this review to seek services elsewhere, if you are looking for professional help when filing your taxes.
