After interviewing multiple solar installers, I chose SolarUnion. It was the right decision. Pricing, installation, and post-purchase communication have been commendable. Electric charges have dropped to nil. Just wish I could find something equivalent for my gas usage!

After many interview and getting so many quotes from many vendors, my wife and I decide to go with SolarUnion to embark on our solar power journey. And it was definitely the right choice. We didn't know anything about Solar power or solar energy. But we learn so much along with SolarUnion. Everything was done professionally and timely. From the beginning, where they did the drone survey, the proposal and contracting, and iterating with us on the design and, and finally the installation and inspection, everything is nothing less than perfect. The thing we value most is their responsiveness. They always get back to us whenever we any question for them. The workmanship of the installer was superb. Not only do they work well, they also look very good. It's almost like a piece of well designed work of art. I must say that I highly recommend SolarUnion for anyone who is embarking on their Solar Power Journey.

Word of warning to all looking to install solar. Im sure Solar Union is like all the other companies, just trying to get you to install a system, but when things dont work out with PG&E, they leave you hanging out to dry. Make sure you read your contract carefully and that until your system is producing power to PG&E, you do not have to pay the remaining total. Reason being, Solar Union was happy to take all my money, but they didnt tell me that there was a chance that PG&E could come back after the installation was complete and tell us that we had to wait 6-9+ months before we could use the system because they would need to upgrade the transformer in our neighborhood. Of course they wont tell you this because they want your money as fast as possible. That would have been nice to know that could happen before I spent 30k on a system that is now useless until PG&E does the upgrade. They know it can happen and even told me it happens once in awhile, after it happened to me. And when this happens, the sales person is nonexistent and doesnt bother to help or call back. Dont even get me started on their Treasury that collects moneythey will send an invoice with interest on without sending the first invoice and tell you that you are late paying.
