    I was hoping for a small female kitten as a wedding present for my wife, put our 250$ deposit, and waited for about 6 weeks while the kitten was being raised. About a week before we were supposed to adopt Lucy called us, and told us the kitten was actually a boy. I don't understand at all how someone's job is breeding cats can't check if they are a boy or a girl. Why have them on your website labeled female if you don't know what gender they are? Why does it take 6 weeks before you verify? I tried to work with Lucy on getting a female but she was very stubborn and gave us no wiggle room to adopt. "If you want a 750$ cat you will pay 750$ for a cat." It's her job, and she needs money but when it comes to these creatures how can she be solely motivated by money? Oh also, a bit sketchy how she is always checking and pressuring you to buy some stupid expensive frozen food from a special producer. "She really likes this meal kit, I highly recommend it." Is what Lucy kept saying. Keep your business away from bellspurr, they don't care enough about their animals, and there are plenty of adorable kittens on Facebook, craigslist, shelters, whatever. Feb 18 Update - they also don't take you off their spam email list! Have been getting a few every month since.

I refunded your money, and I did recommend they stay on the food they're supposed to, it's not healthy for them to change their diet on top of all the Other changes they go through. I have no special interest in any type of food including the frozen food they were on when you applied for a kitten. You wanted a $2500 female for the same price as a $750 dollar cat! There is nothing sketchy on our part for not giving you a female that was worth almost triple the amount you were quoted for another breed even. We don't believe in shaming anyone for figuring the gender of a kitten wrong in any amount of weeks. We do not give free kittens or offer 75% discount when a person insists on getting one. It is a good thing you were not able to get a kitten from us, I think we would not have been a good fit for each other. We adore our clients and are always with them and our kittens through anything, we have just been fortunate to not receive unreasonable demands like yours. You are not our client and should really not even be able to review us as a cattery since you will never have one of our kittens. Maybe someone will come up to you and demand you give them something just because they are angry. Are you 5 years old?
