The Little Gym of Houston Heights

I was excited to have my daughter join a gym so close to home, but the main instructor is racist and shows favoritism. She would grab my daughter to get her out of the way and roll her eyes at her! You can clearly see why there is such a low attendance and low color variety in her classes. I enjoy the other instructor which unfortunately has a time frame I cannot attend as much. It seems she is the manager and has received various complaints but nothing has changed.

Birthday parties: I had my son's 2nd birthday party at The Little Gym. We knew mostly what to expect because my older daughter had gone as a toddler to classes. It was amazing. My son had so much fun. It is engaging and stimulating for kids of all ages. Parents had to participate because of the age of the kids but that was fine. My son never stopped smiling. They were so responsive to emails and questions before and made everything an ease on the day. Would for sure recommend

Fun rompimg for toddlers to 12 y/o's and their assisting moms, abuelas, grandpas, etc. Size appropriate gym equipment. Staff activity leaders.

The lead teacher woman grabbed my 2 year old sons wrist and spoke to him very sharply because he tried to remove a piece of tape on the ground that shed placed there for an activity. I immediately reported this to the owner/manager guy. He didnt seem to care, immediately took up for the teacher without any type of investigation and did not offer any type of follow up until I pressed the issue. She was never friendly or warm (weird for someone working at a childrens play center), never smiled at me or my son, and I was willing to overlook this since he liked it there but when she put her hand on my son that was completely unacceptable and of course we will never be back. To date I never received an actual apology for this situation.
