What a wonderful experience! Very helpful, friendly, and professional. They gathered the information they needed while I waited and then were able to return my rings so that they could finish the reports to send me later. The reports were very thorough and included pictures that were taken while I was there. I would definitely recommend!

On the recommendation of a jewelry store, I went to Gemology Resources for jewelry appraisals. I met with Melissa Scarani, a certified gemologist and co-owner with her husband of their lab. She was engaging, courteous and thoroughly professional. I enjoyed talking to her as we discussed each piece. I appreciated her honesty that some pieces had a low value and did not warrant the cost of an appraisal. In her office she examined each piece of jewelry in front of me. She took photos and measurements of the jewelry for the appraisal report. All the jewelry was returned to me once she was finished examining it. A few days after our initial meeting, I returned to her office to discuss the appraisal report. Each appraisal describes the jewelry in detail and includes a photo. The written appraisals were bound together into one report. I also received a PDF of the full report. Melissa charges a flat fee for each jewelry appraisal. I was very pleased with her work and will not hesitate to use her services again.

Melissa and her husband are fantastic. Extremely efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an appraisal in the region.
