The tax preparer that we had used for many years retired in 2022 so the search was on for a new one - we didn't need or want (to pay for) a CPA. There are many tax preparers around but we wanted an independent IRS-licensed agent (as opposed to H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, etc.) and found C&G Tax Service who had many excellent reviews and BBB accreditation with an A+ rating so decided to give them a try. We were quite pleased with the personalized service Larry Metivier gave us for our 2022 taxes and then again for the 2023 tax year. Larry is a pleasant personable fellow that provided an overview of your filing. He is easily contacted throughout the year should you have a question or need tax advice. I'm glad we found C&G and will back there next year.

Very pleased with our experience with Larry and C&G. He was able to meet with us almost immediately and had our tax return done in a very short time. We liked the fact that he is an independent IRS licensed agent and has excellent reviews. We were not disappointed; Larry is extremely professional.
