N.C. License Plate Bureau

I went in to renew my plate. Brought proof of insurance, my old registration, and my license. Vehicle must be inspected in the last 90 days. I was in and out in 15 minutes. This place runs like a well oiled machine if you come prepared.

Don't come here unless you like waiting in line for an hour to get to the clerk for them to use sarcasm with you. The slow overweight man clerk (Brian) who tried is hardest NOT to assist me when I got to the counter. He tells there is a unexpected $55 fee I had to pay for another vehicle I no longer have in order to even pay my taxes and to get my sticker. So I ask what's the charge for specifically he proceeds with "are you in or you out", then said it 5 times after I asked him what was the fee for i.e (late fee, past due taxes etc.) So at this point I made the payment, because he seemed like he was a little throwed off when I asked for better clarification for what the fee was for. After I made the payment he proceeds with I'm not going to service you, because you have an attitude. Lol then threaten to call the cops because I asked to have someone else help me ( what a joke). Just go to the license plate office in huntersville I was in out in 20 minutes.

The NC DMV bureaucracy is ridiculous. The hoops you have to jump through and personal time and money wasted to comply with their dysfunctional systems is inexcusable.
