I am a tenured professor of ceramics at the University of North Florida. A while back, Frank from Mighty Fine Production Company, assisted me in shooting a documentary in China based on a grant to document one of the last few artists who fires a dragon kiln. Images of the production can be seen in the accompanying photos. This artist used a hand-building technique that is becoming a lost art form. We had to do a lot of planning because China was difficult to navigate, and we had more video equipment than we could carry. Frank made the production process easy from beginning to end. He taught me how to be his second camera guy for which he programmed all the settings for the two-camera interview. It was an excellent experience, and everything turned out perfectly.

Reached out to these guys for help building a set of videos for our franchising company. Was looking for a company to help us brainstorm and take the creative lead on what we needed to do. They responded to my inquiry quickly. Got on a call with Frank. Dude had an attitude from the moment I answered the call. "Got a RFP made?" "Are we using your video? Talking head? Animation?" Told him the ideas we had and what we wanted but they just want to be told what to do. Told him we were coming to him for that help --- Didn't know what we should do... I'm not a video expert......ZERO collaboration. Didn't even attempt to discuss it. ZERO interest in working with us, with no explanation. Zero interest in a creative solution. Attitude was - It's your pleasure to be talking to me. I'm sure they're good at taking pictures and making a video as long as you write the script, story board it, tell them where to point the camera, what edits to make, what music to use, what transitions and everything else; but absolutely terrible at coming up with a creative video solution around the needs of the business. We have an on going need to make lots of new videos for our customers - wanted to see how they'd do on 2 first.... Guess not. Must be enough business out there they don't really care how they treat people. Maybe I'll start up a competing brand -shouldn't be too hard against them.

I collaborated with Frank and his team on a series of instructional-type videos. They are top-notch producers who are extremely adept at delivering videos that are both polished and creative. It's tough to stand out in a "noisy" online world, but their videos definitely do that while maintaining a strong adherence to brand standards. Highly recommend!
