Dr. Gosnell is a rock star of thyroid surgery!! Never once have I laughed with a surgeon! Her attitude is incredible! She makes you feel like you're special and that you're going to get through the process of surgery with no problems! She takes the time to explain what she'll be doing and the best way to approach the surgery. Allows you ask questions and calms any fears you may have. Her staff is just as wonderful as she is! I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism, which was corrected surgically by Dr. Gosnell. Highly competent, skilled in this very delicate surgery where a wrong move destroys your voice forever

This review is for endocrine surgeon Dr. Jessica Gosnell, who is a skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner. Not so easy to find those 2 combined. I had to return to UCSF last year to have my thyroid removed after cancer was detected. A few years prior I had a parathyroid gland removed by Dr. Electron Kebebew, and would have gone back to him but he's now working in D.C. for the National Institute of Health. I feel lucky to have chosen Dr. Gosnell, who left virtually no scar behind and made me feel very well cared for. The main reason I'm writing this review is that I got so many private messages after writing about my experience with Dr. Kebebew. Patients are so anxious to get first hand recommendations from others who have gone through what they're facing, but as far as I can tell no physician review site has really taken off. So, feel free to PM me if you have had a thyroid cancer diagnosis and would like further info about my experience.
