Booked and paid for King bed at Andante In of Sedona with the run of the house. We arrive @4pm. Drove around block 2 times. Name recently changed to Best Western. No signage to indicate change. Wasted 10 minutes driving around a bunch of back alleys. Check into room. 2 twins and View of back alley block wall. We ask for room change. Front desk says nothing else available. We go online and could still book a king bed run of house for tonight, here. But for $100 more.
I again asked at front desk, they again said no kings were available. And all were booked. I said I have a booked reservation. "What is wrong with my reservation of a king bed"
Seems like a hotel booking scam to me.
Manager said no refund for room or refund of the premium we paid for King room.
Lesson learned, don't stay here.
We will try Visa when vacation is over to lodge a complaint.
My wife and I are tall large people and do not fit in a twin, as a couple.
