        Pros. Maintenance is great and super helpful. Wish we had guys like them at all our places we lived. Also you cant beat the views. Cons. Not safe or quiet. Constant car break ins and car clubs or whatever doing donuts in the building directly facing the apartment / generally disturbing the peace to the point the cops have been called to disperse. Old with a paint job sadly. Not much else to say about this. 6/1/23 EDIT: you'll also pay for services they just don't deliver. At least 6 times in this last month the trash pick up which we pay $25 or so a month for just doesn't pick up the trash and by morning time raccoons have destroyed it all and left a huge mess for us to then clean up. 6/8/23 Edit 2: another week, another bag of destroyed trash from raccoons because management cant find a trash company to do their jobs. Will keep adding pictures each time until they figure it out. Trash issue resolved - crime still an issue.

        This place has soul. It's clearly someone's pride and joy and is maintained as such. I've never lived somewhere where I knew so many of my neighbors. So many memories made here.

        I would not recommend this complex. I lived at nalle woods over a year ago. It was a pretty expensive apartment for how far from the action it was, but its Austin. The complex is also super old. This would be ok for someone that doesnt care about being far away from grocery, gym, things to do, and doesnt care about paying a high price for an older apartment. But dont live here if you dont want to get reached out to a year later saying you owe fees because they had turn over in their office staff? I had paid all my fees when I moved out a year ago. I made sure to clear everything with the office. Now they are saying I owe them money because their office staff turned over and they are just getting around to collecting on it. And if I dont pay in 30 days they will turn me over to collections. Its really not my fault that their staff wasnt able to have things figured out when I moved out. My advice you can find a better apartment elsewhere for the same cost.

If I might address some of your concerns or comments. Our beautiful 21 acre community is just 20 years old, however we have complete renovated and modernized our apartment homes to stay up with the times and the Westlake area. We also try to stay up with the market when it comes to our rates. We are one of the few communities that have homes with wood views, attached garages and large patios to enjoy your surroundings.Regarding your concern about final charges on your account. All residents are sent a final statement upon move out to the address provided by the resident. Whether the statement gets put by the wayside during the move or even something else we can't control that. You are absolutely right; it has been sometime since you moved out and your final balance was sent to you. Due to staffing shortages which no fault of your own past balances got a little behind. But we have a full and amazing team now and we are following up on past accounts. It appears your small balance remaining from your deposit was final utilities and few other small charges. Please know we did not mean to upset you. We are just trying to collect balances owed.If you have any questions and would like to speak with me please feel free to contact the office.
