Update: DO NOT MOVE HERE, THERE IS NO FREE PARKING EVEN FOR GUESTS - NOT luxury, but pleasant living experience! Overall this apartment complex is a good place to live! Definitely has some problems but as long as rent prices match up, Im happy Good Stuff 1. I have not had any issues with pests or loud neighbors. Neighbors have been very nice! 2. The front office staff and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful 3. Luxury level common spaces Bad Stuff 1. My unit was not clean when I moved in (covered in cat hair, previous tenants beard trimmings in the bathroom drawers, oven smelled like cigarettes). I couldnt find anything in the lease that specifically calls out a cleaning fee for hiring a service, but this literally could have been avoided by using a wet wipe on the counters. 2. Parking is horrendous. I have either been on the waitlist for an extra spot for my entire lease (building problem) or I was not actually put on the waitlist like I was told (management problem). 3. There was a high profile kidnapping and murder of a young woman here last spring (still unsolved case). This was NOT communicated at any point by office staff, though there was a community security meeting at one point. Had I known there was an ongoing homicide investigation, I might have joined. 4. Theres a panel of exterior trim that has simply fallen off (?) the building?? Its been like that for at least 3 months 5. There are homeless people walking behind, around, and (once) inside the building. The Aubrey cant do much about that, but if thats a dealbreaker for you it is what it is 6. The gym has been out of wet wipes and paper towels (bottles of bleach are full) for almost a month now. UPDATE: refilled after ~2 months 7. Hallways very frequently smell like trash or have random litter scattered about 8. They installed Butterfly keypads at the doors so we could our guests in from an app and they have never worked. Also, even if they did work, they were installed on doors that have an inner locked door that you need to scan to open. Why are we paying for the consoles and app support?

Giving a 5-star review because I had the great pleasure of working with Jake who is excellent at his job and goes above and beyond to make sure residents like myself feel taken care of. Someone please give this guy a raise. He is doing all the heavy lifting.

I lived at The Aubrey for one year and moved out on 3/30. During my tenancy at The Aubrey, I had the opportunity to meet such amazing, wonderful, professional and energetic staff Rebecca Wilson and Jake Trosper, they are the GREATEST. I truly love their attentiveness and tenant care they provided to me. Each time I call in and speak with Rebecca and Jake, they are very professional and helpful. I also want to mention the maintenance crew, Ryan and Theo who are the BEST I will certainly miss them as they are the Fantastic 4!!! I would have stayed but decided to move from The Aubrey for the following (8) reasons: 1) Last year (2023) a female tenant was murdered in the underground parking garage 2) Homeless people sleeping along the walking path at the canal near the building 3) The neighbor above me was very loud and disturbing with his dogs. At 1am and 2am his dogs would play with cement balls and drop them on the floor which disturbed my sleep at night knowing I have to get up and go to work the next day. I was tired all the time because of broken sleep. I told Amanda about it, she did NOTHING. I moved into another unit and I was charged over $700 just for this move to another unit, I thought why should I have to pay, the tenant above me is causing the disruption. In order for me to get proper sleep at night I paid the amount and moved into another unit. 4) My unit faced Washington Street, and last year a homeless man was very high on drugs, tried to climb up the wall to my balcony and break-in, when I looked out the window due to the noise I saw this man climbing up near my windows/doors, I also seen the maintenance staff and 4 police vehicles were just arriving. They took the man into custody. I called the management office and notified them, however the response I received was "yes we know about it". 5) There was a roof leak in my bedroom from the rain, I notified maintenance a few times, nothing fixe or repaired. I moved out of my bedroom into the living room to make sure I would not breathe MOLD, as the wall began to turn dark brown to black. Not to mention the infestation of knats, black bugs crawling into my unit from the front door. I also discovered there was a rat in my garage as boxes were ripped and torn and rat droppings from the rats. 6) One day a door key and mailbox key mysteriously showed up at my front door step and I picked up the keys and tried it on my front door and my mailbox, the keys did fit both, I notified the office and Theo came over and changed my locks right away, I was told the keys probably belonged to the previous tenant and they were just dropping them off. If that is the case, then previous tenants should have droppend them off at the office and the Property Manager should have had the locks changed after the previous tenant moved out. 7) I had a few hiccups with the Property Manager in regards to my lease. Amanda had 2 leases in the system and she was very condesending towards me over the past few months of my tenancy. Upon my moving out, she treated me unfairly as a tenant at the end of my lease I was charged $722.80 from my security deposit, due to me not giving a 60-day notice, I was 14 days late in giving my move out notice, because I got so busy with work. However, I was expecting to receive my security deposit back. I was hit with this amount, and it really took a chunck out of my security deposit, and I cried for days over this. I am a good tenant, paid on time, but I also experienced several issues during my tenancy with The Aubrey Property Manager. I am not complaining just sharing my story and how hurt I was over this. It was truly unfair, and I felt she could have been understanding and not charge me $722.80. 8) I also want to share a few things that led me to my decision to move. The mailroom was always a problem, mail and Amazon, UPS and FedEx packages left on top of mailboxes, or on the floor, the package concierge was not always working, and I have had more than 6 packages missing during my 1 year tenancy at The Aubrey.
