Joseph P. Holmes, DDS

Ive been a patient with Dr Holmes for over 8 years now, him and his staff have always been very welcoming and supportive, theyve helped me reached my goals in getting my gums and teeth in a healthy condition. The hygienists have always given me reassurance when I needed it and they took time to educate me when I had questions/concerns. Recently, I had 2-3 no call - no shows due to a series of unfortunate events that happened back to back, including Covid and then an unexpected emergency surgery. These events again were unexpected and I called the clinic as quickly as I could to explain the situation. Understandable a fee was added which I knew would happen and had no issues with. I called today to schedule an appointment and I had a very negative experience with Mia from the front desk. She had a negative tone and didnt seem as though she wanted to schedule me in. She kept referring back to when I missed my appointments and refused to schedule me for an AM appointment because of my cancelled appointments (even though I had explained to the clinic in the past what had occurred and why I had those no shows and was advised not to worry). I wasnt giving Mia any pushback and I certainly wasnt against paying the no show fee at all as I understand Dr Holmes and his staffs time is valuable, I actually paid the fee on the phone with her. The back to back cancellations was very unusual for me and were uncontrollable medical issues- Ive never had any billing issues or no shows in the past with their clinic in all the years Ive been going. I felt as if she defined me as a patient based off of those few last events, completely disregarding my 8years of prior history and loyalty to the practice. Ive never been treated poorly at this establishment but todays experience definitely was highly unnecessary and unprofessional.

Update 12-15-22: Just received another dental implant and it looks and feels amazing, thanks to Dr. Holmes who is meticulous and in my opinion the best! I so appreciate him and his exceptional staff!!!

The procedure I had was very professionally performed. Dr.Holmes and his assistant made me feel at ease. Office, staff and medical assistants deserve 5+ stars.
