My trees are very important to me. Dustin has taken great care with mine for many years. I first met Dustin because my Catalpa was very damaged. It was a younger tree that had a canopy that was too heavy. When it bloomed one summer, about 1/3 of the canopy on a substantial branch split. Standing in my yard, crying, I thought surely the tree cannot be saved, it was so damaged. Dustin evaluated the tree and recommended trying to save it by removing the damaged section and supporting the weight of the canopy with a technique involving cabling to provide support. I was so happy to have an alternative to removal. The tree eventually healed the large wound in its trunk, and is still alive today. Dustin is very talented with pruning, has extensive practical knowledge, and cares very much about trees.
