We had an untamed hilly lot with big stumps and logs. In 4 hours they made it look appealing to a future buyer/builder. A difficult job done very well. Best money I have spent in a while. They listen and were great.

We had a huge, old fir tree in our yard that was raining down large branches every wind and ice storm, and hawthorne that had grown between a fence and our carport. The Urban Timber crew came in with a great quote, good advice, and even got us scheduled early when they had a cancelation. They managed to take down both trees, trim some others, and tidy everything back up all in one day. Just amazing work and all in all a very positive experience! Jeremy, Sydney and Will are easy to work with in a very tough situation with our trees. After the Ice Storm we had a lot of damage of several of our 100 year old trees. Our home was in danger and Jeremy assessed our situation and made it priority. His crew especially Will did an excellent job on trimming large heavy limbs over the house. It was amazing! The crew are very hard workers and I could tell they are a happy team together. If you want experience, friendly and conscientious Tree people you will not be disappointed. Urban Timber Tree Service took down a massive over 100yr. old pine tree that had rapidly died of disease and or drought. It was very close to two outbuildings and was in the back yard of a dense urban neighborhood. Not an easy task. They were very professional and have dedicated crew members because their employer values his people. When a small pane of glass was broken on an old studio I was working on the owner took it upon himself to take the window in and have the pane replaced and promptly reinstalled the window. They have the City of Portland put up barriers to reserve parking for their large trucks. It took several months before they could fit me in their schedule but it was worth the wait. They showed up promptly on the day scheduled and did a great job! Not to mention they gave me the best bid.This type of independent business checks all the boxes for me. Values their hard working employees, does good work and if you pay by check instead of credit card donates a portion of their proceeds to food banks. That is the America I want to support.
