Juliet and Kelly at the MHGN are superb and provided an insightful, impactful presentation to our D&I Committee at Madison Square Garden. We were incredibly lucky to be able to work with them in this capacity, and received great feedback from senior level salespeople and account managers. In addition to the presentation, they provided us with take-home resources free of charge so we could refer back to coping strategies, lists of mental health professionals, and more. Cannot wait to continue our relationship with Mental Health Global Network!

MHGN trained my students in my Psychology 101 class. We held the training on zoom because of the pandemic. It was a great kick off to the school year and was included in fall orientation. The information was really valuable and explained well. Many students opened up afterward and the instructors showcased our counseling center, which has received referrals. This was a great onboarding program for freshman. We will definitely use MHGN for years to come.

The pandemic has been so hard on our staff as essential medical workers. We wanted to do something for the mental health of the office. This training was excellent and very informative. Definitely recommend especially for medical professionals.

Buyer beware, this class is for work place compliance only. If you are looking for the bare minimum to make it look like you put effort into training your staff then this is meets those requirements. This is just a PowerPoint presentation about how to deal with a coworker/employee/student who is dealing with a life event or basic trauma. All of this information can be found online for free. The owners of this company do not provide any documentation on any qualifications to teach a class of this nature. There is no licensing information, no PhDs , no license therapist or any medical professional at all notated on their website and no proof or information that they have consulted or been trained by a medical professional. They insist that they have been trained but no certifications or public licenses are provided. There is no evidence that the company truly is a legal company as their business license and public information can also not be found. The class itself is very basic. The PowerPoint is style over substance at best. Its 2 hours of literally the most basic information and they just read that PowerPoint to you for 2 hours. They ask you to do exercises that ask you to share personal things and make yourself emotionally vulnerable but its uncomfortable because you notice that there are strangers on in your private class that you dont know. One of those people being a male which was uncomfortable for some people in particular because they are victims of domestic abuse and opening up in front of a strange man was more harm then help. Also when asked about who the extra people in our class were they informed us that they werent required to tell us who from their staff was in the class. No they probably werent required to but part of mental health aid is providing a safe trusting environment for people to feel comfortable in and they couldnt even provide that for their class. I am involved in a non profit that is designed to help victims of sexual and domestic violence and abuse. When we inquired about the class they informed us that they had a class that fit our needs and that it would be private. The price for this class literally changed 4 times and in the end we paid 50$ a person to attend this class. We already had 4 people in the class with bachelors degrees and background in the medical field and we were all uncomfortable with the legitimacy of the information that we were being given. They could not answer basic questions and only gave us information such as phone numbers and websites. They didnt even put enough effort to give us the phone numbers for the actual states we lived in. The most concerning thing to me was they actually advised against taking someone to the hospital during a crisis because you dont know their financial situation and taking them to a hospital could put financial pressure on them. The worst part of the whole thing is the boast that you get a certificate at the end to prove you have been trained and that after the class you are protected by the Good Samaritan law. Everyone is protected by this law because thats literally what the law is. It is designed as a reassurance that if you help a person in a life or death situation and something happens you cant be sued for trying to save that persons life. They even tried to get my group to provide them with free promotions and even emailed all of us and asked us to become brand ambassadors for them and to do it for a 20% discount in their online store which literally has 1 item in it which is a stress kit.
