Upon entering this particular Tuesday Morning store located in Albany nearby to the CrossGates Mall I went there to return a purchase I previously bought at another location in Glens Falls,NY but since I was in the Albany, NY area I thought I’d return it at this particular store while I was in Albany that particular day. There was a woman working at the register, she ‘appeared’ to be middle aged, and as if she hated her job duties this particular day! I’m making that statement based upon her interaction with the previous customer, and overhead her tone of voice and her overall demeanor. [ she was not wearing a name badge, which should be required while working in the retail industry so customers may identify her, if need be?] She finished assisting the previous customer. I walked up to the register, she never ever greeted me nor said anything about assisting me? It should be the golden rule to acknowledge the customer with a greeting, hence, she never did! Im a member of Tuesday Morning’s rewards/points membership . She never asked me if I was or asked for my email nor phone number for my points/reward membership whatsoever?! Why initiate a rewards/points club if the employees at the store aren’t willing to inquire if in fact a customer is a member or even would like to join? I explained to her I’d made a purchase and would like to return it due to the incorrect color scheme I originally wanted. I placed the item onto the counter and was trying to locate the price tag/sticker on the bag by turning the item and I was still holding the bag it was inside of turning it towards her so that she could scan it. As I was trying to do this... she became very arrogant and with an unruly rude tone of voice said to me “If you’d let go of the item I could find the price tag myself!” When I’d mentioned to her I was trying to find the price tag for her. Her tone of voice was as if she was scolding a small child! She was undoubtedly irritated by her job duty to assist a customer and spoke very harsh. I literally was ‘taken aback’ and mortified by her conduct! My first thought was to address her myself but then I hesitated because she seemed as if she’d argue with the customer, that was my impression of her attitude and overall stance! After she made that comment to me, I didn’t engage in any further conversation with her and continued the transaction so that I could remove myself from this situation. She honestly made me feel as IF I were an inconvenience and hindrance to be a customer at this particular store!! As I mentioned she was NOT wearing a name badge however upon looking over my receipt, I noticed the name ‘Tracy B’ located at the bottom of my receipt. Not only am I writing this review, I’m also contacting the corporate office of Tuesday Morning to advise them of my interaction with ‘Tracy’ and to forewarn other customers who may interact with ‘Tracy’ on any given day to be knowledgeable that her attitude is not friendly or forthcoming towards a customer! She IS undoubtedly rude, ignorant towards the customer and appears as if she dislikes her job! There aren’t many Tuesday Morning stores located nearby Albany,NY unless you venture to Glens Falls,NY which by the way, might be in your best interest plus the attractions located with that town then interact with ‘Tracy’ Tuesday Mornings’ worst rudest employee!!! I hope ‘Tracy’ is able to read this review and understands she honestly made me feel awful with her social skills and her ignorance Have a better day ‘Tracy’ and remember the golden rule! The customer comes first!! If perhaps your having a bad day, step back and realize that when a customer enters Tuesday Morning and purchases items, we ARE supporting YOUR paycheck!!!! Just a thought and a fact! Customers could choose to venture elsewhere and spend their earned money at the ‘At Home’ store located literally on the other side of the shopping plaza which by the way, offers many numerous items and nice household items that Tuesday Morning does not! ‘Tracys’ words towards me on this particular day were RUDE

My Favorite Place in the World is closing. I've had many year, making my new home & my Miami's home furnishings shiek & sophisticated. I will miss my hours enjoying the great staff & deals.
