    From the very beginning we had problems with Paper and Home. My initial appointment was rescheduled due to waiting 45 minutes while another client ran late, which was fine, things happen. I had to leave so I informed Beth I would call to reschedule. Due to this Kaide left me a message stating she would offer me 30% off all services. When we decided on the invitations she mistakenly gave me 20% the whole bill and I told her the voicemail said 30% and she fixed it immediately. However I also had a 20% coupon for only the save the date cards from an expo. I said I wasn’t sure if I could use both and she said I could and all was said and done. I was very surprised she would let me use both and even mentioned that! But once I went to pick up the save the dates and pay the balance they refused to give me the additional 20% and said that I was confused because it was one or the other. She thought I was talking about the percentages she messed up on for the appointment issue. It wasn’t worth continuing to argue over. The billing paper I was given was a joke and should have been redone by Kaide before I left since their own paperwork confused them. They definitely need to improve the billing and paperwork. It would avoid a lot of upset people and when you tell a customer something, honor it! Unfortunately what irritated me the most was that we discussed trees on my invites/save the dates, specifically we talked about the tree trunks but when they gave me the first draft it was some eluclyptis leaves from their stock images. They didn’t put any effort into it. Stressing out, my fiancé and I drew up a rough draft and brought it in for their graphic artist. (This was all things I had hoped I would get help with by hiring them!) What finally sealed the deal for me giving them 1 star was the lack of care. When I went to inquire about my guest list addresses they said they needed to send me the template. Well if I’ve been talking to you about finalizing my last draft for my invite and ordered a hard proof already why wouldn’t you have sent that to me a week ago? Or long before that for that matter. The invitations were very late due to every step getting delayed because of this or that. Every little thing I felt I had to fight them on. I hired someone in person to avoid all these issues and get hands on help but I choose the wrong company! My invitations were the most important thing for our wedding with my fiancé being a mailman we wanted to put everything into them. I am very disappointed and wish I had thought twice before handing them the deposit! In my opinion their employees need to be more proactive and take some responsibility for their actions. I didn’t get any effort out of anyone until I demanded it and still they would find every excuse to blame anyone but themselves.

    I got my save the dates and invitations here. Working with Kaide and Beth was amazing. They really go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, from the design to the wording. They are also super fast with response times which I really appreciated. I loved my experience with Paper and Home.

    I designed the invitations for a wedding and found Paper and Home to print the final product. I live in a different state then the bride and so found this place because it was where they lived. I was happy when they said they would print them for me even though they didn't design them. They were courteous on the phone and let me email my design over. However, the final product didn't come out exactly as the bride or I had wanted. There was a problem with the color. I wish they would have contacted me back and let me know so I could have fixed it. Also, they were short on the envelope count when the bride started to mail them out. Sadly there wasn't enough time to fix these mistakes and the invites went out as is. They still looked nice but they weren't what the customer had wanted. I wish they had worked a little harder to ensure the customer and designer were satisfied.
