I started Bennu Enterprises LLC with my husband in 2015 just after he retired from the Navy. At the time, we were in trucking, and had thought that we would start a small fleet. We worked in general freight for about a year before joining a secured carrier with an office near Joplin. While we were on the road, a medical emergency caused me to realize that we could not go on trucking forever, and I began researching ways to evolve our business into something suited to the online economy. During my recovery, I decided to research e-commerce and retail.  We purchased a home near Joplin in 2019, and began making the transition from life on the road to life at home. 

I opened my store, Minutes Hours Days Watch Emporium, because I believe that time is precious, and while we cannot truly 'possess' time, we can be good stewards of the time we are granted every minute, hour and day. I also believe that while digital and smart watches are cool, the value of a mechanical watch is proven by its role in engineering history. Mechanical watches are truly a marvel to behold! 

While smart watches have evolved to assist with a variety of tasks, I prefer to wear a watch for one of two reasons: to elevate my wardrobe and to know, precisely, what time it is throughout the day.  I love not having to look at my phone when I need to know what time it is.  I also love wearing watches that are distinctive and that start conversations because of their unique features and benefits. 

I work with small brands from around the world, and my biggest accounts are from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK. I also work with several domestic brands on a smaller scale for watch accessories.  I know the owners of the brands I work with, so that I can reach out to them if there is ever an issue; so far I haven't had any problems, but it's good practice to maintain those relationships. 

Another key point is that I try not to duplicate inventory; I seek out watches that are of limited edition or that are not available just anywhere. What that means for my customers, new and returning, is that the watch they purchase will be legitimately of limited edition, and will retain it's value for the lifetime of the watch.  All of my brands offer warranties against defects, with most offering coverage for up to two years internationally.  Again, knowing the owners of my brand partners allows me to pave the way should a watch fail to perform as expected.  

You wanna know the best part? I offer watches for everyone! Ladies, gentlemen and kids watches are all available online or at the retail location. Since I don't duplicate inventory, once a collection sells out, that's it: I move on to something new.  I may work with the same brands, but I choose other collections or options from them.  If you are a watch enthusiast, Minutes Hours Days Watch Emporium is gonna be your new favorite store. 

Finally, I am available to consult on a one-to-one basis for gifts and special occasions.  I can do in-person consultations at the mall location or I can do virtual consults via Zoom or Skype, if that works best for you.
