My brakes were grinding as I passed by the Uptown Auto Service. A non descript building that's easy to miss.I stopped in to have a mechanic check my brakes. But they said they could fix them immediately, right then and there!! I was in and out within 40 minutes and the price was awesome. Super friendly service too. A realy gem in our neighborhood!!

We damaged our bumper a couple weeks ago and figured that the cost to repair it without reporting to Allstate would be cheaper in the long term than having Allstate cover it.  After talking with Uptown Auto Service, we learned we were correct.  It wasn't much damage, just a dent in the lower panel of the bumper.  I went to Jon after reading his reviews.  He gave 2 quotes:  1) Completely fix the damage ($1100ish), and; 2) Fix the lower panel and simply use heat to reshape the upper part that was just dented.  He advised us that it may not look 100% perfect.  We don't drive much so we opted for the cheaper option.  I dropped the car off yesterday morning and he was done that afternoon.  It looked brand new and I really had to look closely to see a crack that he warned me would still be there.  I'm quite satisfied and will use him again if the need arises.  Highly recommend!  Thank you Jon.
