LASHAWN HAYES sold me a car policy with a WRITTEN guarantee that my rate is locked in and verified to stay the same for 12 months. 6 months later, my premium went up by 15% and he says he can't do anything about it, and GEICO refuses to honor a promise of his agent. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. 0/10.

I have been with Geico 27 years. I have had the Geico Drive Easy app for 3, 6 months premium periods I have always maintained an excellent score for those 3 policy periods. I have 3 vehicles registered and insured with Geico. The Geico drive easy monitors your driving. My score during this current premium policy periods ending on March 31st. was/is 105 which is an excellent score according to Geico My renewal came up for April first and my premiums went up 200 a month starting April 1st. I spent two days, hours on phone asking why. Most CS reps have me false info, excuses etc., and 7 times out of 10 not one CS rep gives you the same or accurate information.I finally was told my Drive Easy discount went from 1500 dollars down to 300 dollars, the CS rep stated my driving changed.He stated roads I drive on, cornering etc..blah, blah..blah! I informed him that not once has my score been lower than excellent for the almost two years that I've been on the plan. I think the drive easy deal is playing with a scam just to make money for Geico and I realize it's a third party that controls the app. I informed the representative that I was going to cancel come the end of this premium period March 31st! I asked to have a supervisor call me and that supervisor named Alyssa did call me an hour later and I told her I would be probably leaving Geico the end of this policy. She said oh wait we've got a new program that we can probably put you in she did that for me and my premium was still up by $110. I believe that this drive easy thing for Geico is a scam even though I had an excellent score for almost 2 years of premiums. They told me I lost $1,200 in the discounts down from $1,500 because my driving habits changed I'm a retired police officer 20 years service 68 years old disabled I drive like an old man and they're trying to tell me I take corners to sharp etc etc this needs to be looked into. I'm sure there are many complaints for Geico on this Drive Easy scam. I know other insurance companies only monitor your driving for the first 6 months and that's the end of it Geico continually monitors your driving the whole time you have the app Like I said seven times out of 10 you get false information from the customer service reps they don't really know what they're talking about many times. this Geico Drive easy foolishness needs to be looked into Also the Geico app is not user friendly, horrible, horrible.
