Martins Landscaping came out to give a pricing for landscaping done at my home. Just a maintenance. We rent at our home but, the landscaping needed a serious remulching so we asked them to come out. They gave me the pricing and I let them know I would speak to my husband about the price (475) and he said he would call next week to set up a time and date to come do the work. My family and I left for Disney we returned home and my husband mentioned it looked like mulch had been layed down. I stepped outside and noticed the same. We pulled up our camera footage and saw that Martins landscaping had come out without calling, texting, confirming any time/date. This is completely unprofessional! First and foremost the cost of the maintenance was overpriced! We had two landscaping companies come out last year to give us a quote and quoted 350 for the same exact job. Hence the reason why I explained I would need to speak with my husband first before giving a go on the job. I came home and didnt even notice the work had been done, if it wasnt for my husband I would have ever even noticed they did work on the property. Mulch was layed down and even still pieces of the plastic sheet under the mulch was poking through all throughout the mulch! You could barely tell ANY WORK HAD BEEN DONE. The owner showed up to our home multiple times to collect payment when we stepped outside to explain that we had not authorized the job he stated over and over and over again we did! We DID NOT! You do not come to someones home and complete work without confirming a date and time with your client! I live in a suburban neighborhood and felt like the entire ordeal was causing a scene so I told him we would pay him this week. Should we be paying him? Absolutely not! The work was terrible and we were not present to even guide the crew with our feedback! The professionalism above all was despicable. Service: Landscaping maintenance

Great job planning landscaping project for front of our house; flexible and cooperative when we asked about different approaches. And they guarantee new plantings for a year -- good protection in these crazy times when it can suddenly become too hot, too wet or too dry for the plants to survive. Also cleaned up the back yard, especially the overgrown shrubs, very well. Only downside (and this is a good thing); they are a small business, and they do get busy, so sometimes you have to be patient to get good quality work. Services: Mulching, Yard work
